Mónica Villa, one of the most remembered actresses from the classic film Esperando la Carrozza, following the success of that production participated in other fictions that marked a before and following in the lives of Argentines. However, some time later she decided to distance herself from the media forever.

In addition to having starred in Waiting for the Carriage, Mónica was part of The Garden Passengers, Women’s Correctional Facility, That’s Not Talked About, Chiquititas, Los Simuladores and Mujeres Asesinas, among other fictions. In the midst of fame, she decided to step aside to take a break.

Today, at 67 years old, the actress lives by teaching theater classes. In teaching, she found her true passion. For this, she prepared herself. In 2009, she obtained a master’s degree in Argentine and Latin American Theater, which she studied at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires.

One of the most significant workshops for the actress was the Latin American Theater Workshop and the Latin American Culture Seminar that she gave at the Chinese University of Nanjing, during 2017 and 2018.

Although one of his most recent participations in cinema was thanks to the film El Cuento del Tío, these appearances are very sporadic, since teaching is his priority.
