A video posted at the end of the week on Instagram showing Britney Spears dancing with (fake) knives has gone viral. The video caused such a stir that the police intervened at the pop star’s home to ensure her well-being.
During the night from Saturday to Sunday, Britney Spears, who recently separated from her husband, wanted to reassure her fans regarding her state of health. “Is it a joke that we are still talking regarding my state of health?! I thought we had moved on?”, she denounced in a message written on her Instagram account.
“I’ve been harassed at home for years. I’ve had enough. We stop talking and we act. Like my mother who doesn’t answer when the paparazzi ask her questions regarding her own daughter as if I had done something bad […] People must be responsible for their actions!”

In a previous video posted on Friday, Britney Spears had already clarified the situation, revealing that she was dancing with fake knives. “These aren’t real knives. No need to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite singers, Shakira…”
And added: “I am inspired by one of her performances. Cheers to all the bad girls who are not afraid to push the limits and take risks.” A fan of Shakira for several years, Britney Spears was inspired here by her performance during the MTV VMAs last September.
