The team of volunteers from the France Alzheimer and related diseases association of Gers de Condom mobilized to welcome the many participants who came for World Day 2023. “This year, with the theme of adapted physical activity, this allowed us to break down barriers and leave illness in the locker room for a moment. Dancing, singing, music, hiking, cycling, horse riding….so many activities that allow the possibility of evolving in letting go taken, the conviviality and the pleasure of the moment. I look forward to seeing you next year to meet us and thus contribute to the research programs once morest this disease which still has no treatment to date, rejoices the president, Monique Gensac. A big thank you to all of you who through your presence, your good humor, your participation in the various activities allowed us to see how much you were able to highlight our cause.
The next meeting of the monthly Memory Café will take place Tuesday, October 17, at the Continental at 2:30 p.m. The subject will be “How to maintain an exchange with a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.”
