Hot off the press, the renowned academic painter Jolanda Richter and her husband, the art dealer and artist manager Stephan Wolf, presented their newly published Christmas children’s book: “Christmas in Wiesenwald – the Festive Concert”.
For the second time, Jolanda Richter has contributed countless watercolors to the 80-page follow-up to her successful children’s book debut “Wiesenwald – The Adventurous Rescue of the Queen Bee”. Sixty watercolors, on which she worked intensively for more than half a year, comprise the traveling story regarding the popular characters from the meadow forest.
Book for the whole family
The artist couple has once once more created a heartwarming and humorous art children’s book whose enchanting images are so inviting that you would like to live in them. The first pages already awaken the anticipation of a cozy and sizzling Christmas. This time the new adventure is all regarding the music. For the two artists, “music represents every form of art that is not only impressive in terms of craftsmanship, but above all comes from the heart in order to touch hearts,” they explain.
Like its predecessor, the book is not only intended for children, but for the entire family – from young to old. The book presentation and exhibition of the original watercolors will take place on Tuesday, October 24th, at 7 p.m. in Galerie 10, Getreidemarkt 10 in Vienna’s first district.
