Rajasthan, 30 September / WAM / The Youth Summit on Human Fraternity and Compassion affirmed that youth are an important force for bringing regarding change and that it is necessary to harness their energies to achieve greater goals and alleviate the suffering of others. More than 500 young people from across India are participating in the summit and aims to mobilize younger generations at the global level to promote the goals of human brotherhood and compassion.
The Secretary-General of the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity, Mohamed Abdel Salam, said in a speech during the summit that the world faces unprecedented challenges, considering that the collective efforts of human brotherhood will help us overcome these problems, hoping that collective efforts will be able to make the world a better place to live in.
He noted that the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity aims to support individuals and organizations that fight hatred and discrimination in their societies, in addition to promoting human brotherhood and compassion at the popular and international levels.
On the other hand, Nobel Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi, who devoted his efforts to combating child labor, said that we should all work for the sake of all humanity, noting that this is the appropriate time to harness the energies of youth to achieve greater goals and alleviate the suffering of others.
He stressed that making efforts in this field requires one to be courageous, flexible, and caring. He said that youth are an important force to bring regarding change.
The summit lasts for three days, and includes prominent speakers from India and various parts of the world, in which the honorees of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity and prominent figures from India and abroad will speak.
