Canon do Brasil announces the partnership to create the documentary Two sisters. This film, directed by filmmaker and nature documentary filmmaker Lawrence Wahba and wildlife photographer and documentary filmmaker Mike Bueno, features a special appearance by director Emmanuel Priou, acclaimed for his work on the award-winning film “March of the Penguins”.
The documentary is being produced by producers Duo2 and Bonne Pioche in partnership with producers Alexandre Soullier, Jefferson Pedace and Rafa Calil.
About the Documentary ‘Two Sisters’
The documentary Two sisters tells the story of two sisters Amber and Jaju who grew up together, until they separated to live their adult lives in a territory they dominate every inch of. But this kingdom is changing and life is getting more difficult every day. It’s not the same Pantanal as your childhood. The rains are more violent. The dry season is drier and longer. And the most brutal fires. The two sisters have to face their greatest enemy: climate change.
Canon Technology in Action
The film will be recorded with Canon equipment and will feature the Cinema EOS C500 MarkII and EOS C300 MarkIII cameras. Additionally, Lawrence Wahba will use Canon’s special Cinema EOS ultra-telephoto zoom CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm lens.
Exclusive Podcast
As part of the partnership’s announcement, there will be a special recording of Canon Cast, Canon’s podcast, with Lawrence Wahba, Mike Bueno and Emmanuel Priou.
“Canon do Brasil is honored to be part of this exciting journey. We are happy to offer products from our Canon Cinema&Broadcast line for productions like this”, says the person responsible for Canon’s Cinema and Broadcast area, Fabio Zuccaratto.
