A rat’s claw was found in sausages from the Russian brand Slivushki. This is stated in the document of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
“The Rospotrebnadzor office for the Vladimir region received information with photographic materials attached <…> regarding the purchase of low-quality products. Foreign inclusions in the form of a rat’s claw were found in Slivushki sausages,” the text of the document is given “News”. The sausages were produced at ZAO Starodvorskie Sausages in the city of Vladimir.
Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under Rospotrebnadzor Oleg Pavlov explained that under the conditions of a moratorium on inspections at enterprises, control in production is being reduced. As a result, an object, insect or animal may get into the raw material. “It’s one thing when plastic or packaging is found in products, it’s completely different if we are talking regarding rats. This suggests that enterprises have very serious problems with compliance with safety rules,” Pavlov emphasized.
Earlier, the genome of the African swine fever virus was discovered in Stolichnaya ham from the Vyazanka brand. Products are produced JSC “Starodvorskie sausages” in the city of Vladimir.
