The Department of Industry and Commerce launches, in partnership with that of Economy and Finance, the CGEM, the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) and the Moroccan Association of Exporters (ASMEX) , the 2nd edition of the international support program for first-time exporters.
Through this new edition, the State intends to support 50 companies with an export business plan demonstrating confirmed export potential with a structured programming of operations over the period 2024-2025.
It targets companies (including cooperatives) under Moroccan law operating in the industrial or service sectors, with export potential and whose average export turnover does not exceed not 5 million DH over the last three financial years.
“The program consists of tailor-made support over a period of 2 years, through financial support from the State to companies and cooperatives under Moroccan law which have export potential and intend to become confirmed exporters” , explains the ministry on this subject. The State, through this program, notes the same source, will support companies by ensuring that they take charge of operations linked to prospecting and access to target markets with potential, according to financing methods and criteria. eligibility criteria defined by the partnership agreement relating to the support program for first-time exporters, linking the State to the private sector.
