A remarkable collection of 23 classic cars has just been discovered near the Alabama city of Birmingham. This find might almost be a miracle given the barn in which it was hidden seemed banal. But, once inside, the people who came across it immediately understood that they were not dealing with a barn like any other.
The collection that was in this barn was just waiting to be dug up. She belonged to Earl Trammelan avid automobile collector who died in 2022. However, it is not so much his passion for cars as the search for financial gain which led him to purchase so many vehicles in his life. This man did not have confidence in the American banking and financial system. So, he preferred to invest in these cars rather than in the stock market!

During his lifetime, Earl Trammel acquired more thanaround twenty American cars. The result of all his acquisitions is a collection entirely composed of American pick-ups, muscle cars and a few sports cars. Among these vehicles, it is worth noting, for example, the presence of several Corvettes, which also show low mileage.
One of the Corvettes is particularly rare: a 1971 Stingray Coupe. Another is a 1998 model, a Corvette Indy Pace Car. The latter has hardly been used, since its odometer shows only 37 kilometers. Seven other vehicles in this collection have less than 100 kilometers on the odometer, showing that they were only driven as part of their delivery.

In total, the collection includes 23 vehicles. Only one of them has European origins: one Porsche 911 C4S manual from 1996. The other 22 cars are, however, not just luxury models. The collection is also made up of a Ford Mustang convertible from 1965, which displays 150,000 kilometers on the odometer, as well as a Chevrolet 210 Sedan of 1956.
This collection passed into the hands of Earl Trammel’s wife upon his death. She then sold them and they were acquired by a car sales specialist, GiveMeTheVin.com (GMTV). The company now plans to auction all of these models in spring 2024, as reported CarBuzz. Its CEO, who is nevertheless used to these sales, claims to have never seen anything like this in his career.
