What many Cubans were waiting for has arrived. The US Department of States reported on registrations for the 2025 Visa Lottery or the Bombo, as it is known in Cuba.

In a newly published tweet, they communicated: “the DV2025 Diversity Visa Program will open from October 4 to November 7, 2023 and will allow those from countries with low immigration rates to the US, who meet the eligibility requirements, enter for the opportunity to apply for a US immigrant visa. It is the ONLY way to enter,” they warned.

At Directorio Cubano we inform you of the main requirements that you must comply with. The best news is that Cuba was once once more included in the list of eligible countries.

APPLY TO THE HYDRO FROM CUBA

Applicants must submit their applications for the DV-2025 program electronically at dvprogram.state.gov between 12:00 pm (noon) Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4) on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, and 12:00 pm (noon) Eastern Standard Time (EST) ( GMT-5), on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Please do not wait until the last week of the registration period to register, as high demand may cause delays on the website.

Late or paper registrations will not be accepted. The law only allows one registration per person during each registration period. The State Department uses sophisticated technology to detect multiple registrations. Submission of more than one entry per person will disqualify all entries by that person.
