“I knew I was going to win this fight”
Jean-Luc Crucke tells us his feelings following the announcement of this excellent news: “I obviously feel joy but also serenity, which I have always tried to maintain throughout this period. I always told myself I was going to win this fight, I was never really afraid. All I had to do was listen to the medical profession who followed me. It’s just happiness, it’s a page that turns.” The Walloon MP is already looking to the future: “I made a commitment to the doctors with whom I was in contact: if I have to take on a political challenge once more, it will be at the federal level, to lead the fight once morest this disease . I am neither the first nor the last to whom this happens and today I want to tell them not to give up, to stay positive. After the rain, always comes good weather.” After the announcement of this news, Jean-Luc Crucke already established the program for his evening: “When I heard the news, I immediately called my partner Virginie to tell her. We will both share a meal in a restaurant, in complete simplicity. This fight was a bit his too.
