Lost for lost, the other Republican candidates decided to attack Donald Trump, during their second electoral debate three months before the start of the primaries. The former president, who gathers more voting intentions than all of his pursuers, had once once more impassed, already preparing for a duel with Joe Biden in November 2024. He was in Michigan to contest the worker vote for Joe Biden the day following the president’s historic visit to a picket line in the automobile sector. This outbidding on the left gave a good opportunity to the seven other candidates qualified for this second debate to distinguish themselves.
