As a precaution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be postponed to 2024.
The Boss, who celebrated his 74th birthday on September 23, had already canceled several shows with the E Street Band earlier this month.
Wednesday’s statement, posted on social media, indicates that its shows, as well as concerts scheduled to take place during the rest of the year, will be postponed. Dates will be announced next week.
“When the new 2024 dates are announced, those who are unable to attend the new date and who purchased their tickets from the official ticketing companies will have 30 days to request a refund. All tickets for the postponed performances will remain valid for the newly announced dates,” the statement said.
Bruce Springsteen will need further treatment by December. Since his summer European tour, he has presented seven concerts in the United States, the last on September 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. During this performance, he performed 28 songs during a three-hour long concert without showing any signs of health problems.
Springsteen gave his last Montreal concert on March 2, 2008.
