The Léon Bérard Center (Lyon 8th), a cancer center in Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is once once more joining forces with October Rose. Each year, this national campaign raises awareness among women regarding breast cancer screening and informs them regarding the disease.
Numerous events will be held throughout the month of October and will cover the following theme: “pregnancy before and following breast cancer”.
“Preserving your fertility before starting cancer treatments” or “getting pregnant following breast cancer” will be, among other things, the topics discussed during the conference. Cancer and pregnancy which will take place on Tuesday October 3 at 4:30 p.m. at the Center Léon Bérard. On this occasion, patients will share their experiences of the illness.
Complementary therapies
The same day, “complementary therapies” will be highlighted in the main reception hall of the CLB. These complementary therapies have been developed by the center for several years. And this day will be an opportunity to discover these methods and come and test acupressure, hypnosis, aromatherapy, art therapy or sophrology.
