The new Integrated Quality Management feature will help contractors close the gaps between quality requirements and daily work, as well as mitigate risks that can derail successful project delivery. The feature will integrate Inspection Test Plans and checklists with construction work plans, field progress and project documentation, enabling contractors to ensure rapid ongoing approval of project billing requirements, preventing quality issues or delays from the project. The feature will provide all stakeholders with real-time oversight of project progress, while improving accountability, speeding project delivery, and supporting greater cooperation between owner and contractor.
The updated Design Issue Management feature, part of the InEight Model solution, goes beyond clash detection and initiates an RFI by promoting multidisciplinary cooperation to monitor and manage design issues, as well as avoid costly rework, security issues or delays. The feature will include a user-friendly interface to help collaboratively detect and resolve issues before they become costly later in the construction process, enabling the adoption of collaborative delivery models such as design-build.
