(truevisionnews.com) Gulab Jam is one of the most favorite sweet treats for those who love sweets. How regarding making gulab jam at home which is only eaten in shops.
Ingredients
Milk powder – half cup
Maida – a cup of flour
Milk – 2 tbsp
Baking soda – a pinch
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Salt- a pinch
Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – as needed
Oil – enough
How to prepare
Mix milk powder, flour, baking soda, ghee and salt well. Then add warm milk little by little and knead it well and keep it closed for 10 minutes.
In another bowl add sugar and water and let it boil. When it boils add cardamom powder and boil for five minutes on minimum flame to prepare sugar solution.
After that, the prepared dough can be made into small balls, rolled tightly and deep fried in well heated oil until golden brown. Then put in the sugar solution and keep the vessel closed for 15 minutes. Gulab jam is ready.
