The 18-year-old from Weibern (Grieskirchen district) was driving her car in Geiersberg on the B141, Riederstrasse, from Ried towards Haag am Hausruck at around 10:45 p.m. At the same time, a 17-year-old German drove his car onto Riederstrasse. The driver was no longer able to brake and wanted to avoid a collision by swerving to the left side of the road. She lost control of her car, drove onto the adjacent embankment of the B141 and rolled over twice. There was no direct collision between the two vehicles. The 18-year-old was taken to Ried Hospital with minor injuries.
