“I was seeing some newspapers that were saying that ‘Yahaira goes with 40 security and no one follows her.’ At every concert I go to, at every event I go to, the people in charge are the ones who hire security for all the artists, I don’t think they only do it with me, because the security of those of us who go to the events is also important. Obviously there are more complicated places, but I still believe that in every nightclub, in every concert, there is security for the artists and it is normal,” she said, initially, in a video published on Instagram Stories.
Yahaira Plasencia said that it is also “valid” that the singers themselves decide to have personal security when they go to a show.
“It is never lacking, as I said, I have had complicated experiences, especially for women. Even so, I have never had personal security, thank God I have the guys in my orchestra, they are all men and they take great care of me,” she added.
Finally, he stressed that artists are also exposed to dangerous situations during their performances. She also took the opportunity to send greetings to the agents who took care of her at the UPC facilities.
