A Toyota is preparing to launch a new compact SUV in 2024 for the family Beyond Zero. This is the bZ3Xa name that is not yet official, but it is speculated that this is due to the fact that his older brother is called bZ4X. It is part of the company’s plans to introduce 30 new electric cars by 2030.

In general, it was shown for the first time at the end of 2022, still as a concept. It is also considered a kind of “spiritual successor” to the Toyota-C-HR. In this sense, it should arrive in the United States as a rival to the Chevrolet Equinox EV and Hyundai Kona models.

For now, what is known regarding the model is that it will be produced on the automaker’s platform dedicated to its electric cars: the TNGA. In other words, this model is expected to be sold with rear, front or all-wheel drive, in addition to being flexible regarding batteries.

Furthermore, rumors claim that the bZ3X will be equipped with two electric motors, which provide a power of 210 horsepower. The autonomy, in short, should reach 434 kilometers if we take the EPA cycle into account. However, it is important to remember that the brand has not yet confirmed the specifications of its compact SUV.

As for the launch, it is speculated that the car will be officially presented during the Los Angeles Motor Show, scheduled to take place between November 17th and 26th. In any case, it is scheduled to reach the markets of Europe and the United States in the first months of 2024.

So far, there is no information regarding the possible launch of the car in South American countries. Finally, check out the launch of the 2024 Corolla in Brazil and the details of the plug-in hybrid version of the brand’s C-HR.
