Detroit/Amsterdam/Belleville – US President Joe Biden has demonstratively joined the striking workers in the auto industry and supported their demand for 40 percent more wages. “You deserve what you deserve,” he said Tuesday outside a General Motors distribution center in Belleville, Michigan. “And you deserve a hell of a lot more than you’re getting now.” Asked whether he supported the UAW union’s wage demand, Biden said “yes.”
