[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group (G)I-DLE members Yuki and Minnie are in controversy for riding two people on an electric kickboard. It is being pointed out that two people were caught riding an electric kickboard that can only accommodate one person.
Recently, a video showing (G)I-DLE members Yuki and Minnie in Berlin, Germany was posted on an online community and became a hot topic. The video shows Yuki and Minnie riding an electric kickboard.
The problem is that Yuqi and Minnie were two people riding an electric kickboard that can only be ridden by one person. They climbed side by side, rode electric kickboards, and rode on the sidewalk rather than the bike path. As a result, criticism is forming.
In Germany, it is known that if two people are caught riding an electric kickboard, they will be fined 10 euros (regarding 14,000 won). If an electric kickboard invades the sidewalk, you can be sentenced to up to prison terms. Currently, in Korea, the maximum number of people riding an electric kickboard is limited to one person.
As the German video of Yuki and Minnie was released, controversy over ‘insensitivity to safety’ arose. They are being criticized not only for not maintaining the electric kickboard limit, but also for not using the bicycle path while riding electric kickboards.
