How to modify your voice on TikTok
Changing your voice on TikTok is easy and can be a lot of fun! The platform allows you to change the sound of your voice through a super simple step by step; as you can see below!
You can change your voice with the various effects available, sounding like a completely different person or adding new effects. Check out:
With TikTok open on your device, tap the “+” located in the bottom bar to start the recording process; Record the video the way you want. Done, tap the red tick icon; If you want to record your video with a voice effect already applied, tap “voice filter” and select the desired filter; For the options to be shown, it is necessary to choose a duration time for the video that will be recorded.
In the new menu, expand the side menu by tapping the arrow icon; Now, tap on the “Voice”; Select the desired voice effect. In the same menu, play the video to see the result; If you want to record new audio for the video, tap “To record” and select the effect. Tap “Keep” to confirm the filter choice; Finish editing and finish posting the video.
The video will be posted with the chosen effect! Unfortunately, it is not possible to apply voice filters to videos selected from your device’s gallery; only on videos recorded directly from the app’s camera.
Furthermore, it is not possible to use more than one filter at the same time or upload your own filter. Not at the time of this tutorial, at least.
Videos already posted cannot have their voice filters changed or removed.
