From van Gogh to ancient Egypt, Samsung Art Store users can choose from 38 renowned works of art

Samsung Electronics has partnered with The Metropolitan Museum of Art1 in New York City to include some of the museum’s most valuable works of art in The Frame. The Met’s selection of iconic works is now available on Samsung Art Store2 – enabling The Frame users to transform any space by showcasing more than 2,300 works from the industry’s most distinguished artists, museums and tastemakers.

Samsung Art Store users can choose from 38 works from several of The Met’s famous curatorial departments, including the American Wing, Asian Art, Egyptian Art, European Paintings, Islamic Art and more. The offering features high-resolution digital reproductions of renowned works of art from diverse periods and cultures displayed at The Met.

Samsung Art Store users can display beloved works of art in their own home, including “The Ballet Rehearsal on the Stage” by Edgar Degas (circa 1874); “Sunflowers” ​​by Vincent van Gogh (1887); “Still life with apples and a pot of primroses” by Paul Cézanne (circa 1890); and “The Circus Parade” by Georges Seurat (1887-1888). Owners of The Frame can also display ancient artifacts, such as an Egyptian Wedjat eye amulet3 (circa 1070-664 BC), and medieval treasures, including “The Unicorn Rests in a Garden” (1495-1505), the famous fabric French and South Dutch Unicorn Tapestries. Famous Japanese artworks such as “Under the Mannen Bridge in Fukagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai (circa 1830-1832), as well as “Concise Illustrated Biography of the Monk Nichiren: Calming the Stormy Sea in Tsunoda in Exile on Sado Island” by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1835-1836) are also available.
