Investing in research: young people are taking over!

Each year, France Alzheimer and related diseases helps finance around ten new scientific programs. Committed to long-term actions, the Association notably supports more or less long-term projects. Different disciplinary fields linked to Alzheimer’s disease and its related diseases are supported: from fundamental research to clinical research including translational research.

The Association has a particular attachment to supporting young researchers and doctors during their research work by promoting the completion of thesis or internship relating to Alzheimer’s disease and its related diseases.

It is in this sense that in 2023, the Association renewed its call for projects “Support for Young Researchers” aimed at young researchers and doctors in order to give them the financial means to finalize their research project.

Young researchers supported by our partners

Each year, the Association counts on the support of committed patrons and partners. Among them, the Entrepreneurs & Go Federation as well as the Isabelle MANDELKERN Endowment Fund which more specifically support the “Support for young researchers” system.

In 2023, these two partners have both demonstrated once once more their desire to support research by co-financing the research project of two young researchers.

This year, Entrepreneurs & Go is supporting the project of Mr. GEORGES Hugo, medical intern, whose project focuses on “The study of intra-operative EEG biomarkers for the early detection of neurocognitive disorders: a non-invasive and promising method”.

As for the Isabelle MANDELKERN Endowment Fund, it supports the research project of Ms. AUGUSTIN Emma, a 4th year doctoral student at the MIRCen Neurodegenerative Diseases Laboratory, whose project focuses on “Evaluation of astrocytic dysfunction in tauopathies”.

By renewing their support, Entrepreneurs & Go and the Isabelle MANDELKERN Endowment Fund demonstrate their confidence in the young generation of researchers!
