Dubai ∙ Dubai Municipality has prepared a new face for roundregardings as part of the beautification of the city. 4 roundregardings in the emirate have been decorated with the new design. The renovation is themed Art in Public Place. Roundregardings such as Al Raqqa, Nad Al Sheba Round, Nad Al Hamar and Al Khawaneej Roundregardings have been updated over time. Roundregardings have been made attractive by greenery in a design suitable for each area. The city council said that converting Dubai’s roundregardings into an open art exhibition center would enhance its reputation as a global city with an artistic and cultural heritage.
The new design of Al-Warqa Roundregarding is inspired by the name of the area. Here the pattern of the bird circling the ring is drawn. Nad Al Hamar mirrors the outline of the nearby Red Dunes. Measuring 1.9 to 2.9 meters in height, the design evokes the beauty of the Nad Al-Hamar Garden.
Nad Al Sheba’s roundregarding reflects the rhythmic pattern of ocean waves. Alkhawaneej Roundregarding is characterized by a farm, trade and cultural practices inspired by the agricultural heritage of the desert. Plants, flowers and art installation have made the roundregardings more beautiful.
