The energy supplier Mega has long been a “troublemaker” on the Belgian energy supply market. After ten years of existence, the company low cost has however become “more mature”, assures Thomas Coune, one of the two co-founders of Mega, of which he is also CEO. Like all suppliers, Mega experienced the “tsunami” of the energy crisis at the forefront, leaving a few feathers behind: it lost 100,000 customers in the battle. “The crisis is behind us,” however, assures Thomas Coune. “In Belgium, we should return to our cruising size (500,000 customers, Editor’s note) within six months. And we should aim for 700,000 customers in the coming years. But we do not claim to become number one: we want to remain the challenger who talks regarding price. »
