The meeting between Osasuna and Sevilla this Saturday (0-0) was marred by pre-match incidents. After clashes between supporters in the streets of Pamplona, two of them were arrested in possession of explosive devices.
A particularly hectic pre-match in La Liga. This Saturday, incidents were reported in Pamplona before the start of the match between Osasuna and Sevilla FC. As reported by the Chain Being, clashes between ultras from the two teams broke out in the city and particularly in a bar, which had to close early. Several employees of the establishment were injured.
Clashes without impact on the match
Three minutes later, the police arrived to restore calm, while chairs and various objects were flying. 70 Sevillian supporters were reportedly involved in the incidents, which led to the arrest of two of them for possession of homemade explosive objects, but also potentially flammable ones, as well as sticks.
Two other similar devices were also found in the city, one of which had already exploded. The meeting was finally able to take place without consequence at the El Saddar stadium, only to result in a goalless draw. With one game less, the Sevillians remain stuck one length at the bottom of the standings, a small point from the relegation zone.
