Alternating clearings and cloudy areas will punctuate Saturday followingnoon, which should generally remain dry even if a few showers might escape in the Ardennes and the north of the country. The thermometer will not climb higher than 13°C in Hautes Fagnes and 17 to 18°C in the plains, predicts the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM). The wind will blow moderately, except at sea where it will sometimes be quite strong.
Large clearings will cover the country in the evening while the night will pass under high clouds. Mist, fog and clouds might appear, especially in upper Belgium. Scarves will be necessary to properly cover the lymph nodes while the MRI announces that the mercury might drop towards 0°C in certain Ardennes valleys. In other regions, minimums will oscillate between 6 and 10°C.
A bright sun will greet lovers of pain au chocolat on Sunday morning, except in upper Belgium where you will have to queue at the bakery in the morning gray. The thermometer will warm up somewhat, with 15 to 20°C expected.
The maximums will continue to gain a few degrees throughout the week, with 21°C on Monday, up to 23°C on Tuesday and 22°C on Wednesday.
