Milei: «(Macri) seems like someone valuable to listen to»

«(Macri) I think he is someone valuable to listen to, has been very generous with me, he has given me advice and recommendations. He did not suggest names to me (of possible ministers) but if he suggested some people I would listen, all the people who can add up, why not? If he already knows what it’s like to go through all that,” said the candidate in the radio interview.

Along the same lines, he indicated that Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has experience (being president) but “she has very different ideas and that makes it very difficult” to take suggestions.

Milei on Rosatti’s words for dollarization: “They are not appropriate”

On the other hand, he assured that the statements of the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Horacio Rosatti, regarding his dollarization plan “are not appropriate.”

«It seems to me that Rosatti’s interpretations are not appropriate. I ask Rosatti a question: Why does he support stealing 25 million dollars per year from the Argentines with seigniorage? Why does he take the side of thieving politicians and once morest good politicians? », he indicated.

The president of the Supreme Court of Justice maintained in an interview that if “dollarization eliminates the Argentine currency it is unconstitutional.”

«If dollarization eliminates the Argentine currency it is unconstitutional. “If I abandon one currency and go entirely to the other, it is a path that, for me, is unconstitutional,” Rosatti told the Spanish newspaper El País.
