Pop star Heino exploded on TV and raged regarding gender. At the Oktoberfest, actress Uschi Glas also spoke regarding this topic and described her attitude to it to IPPEN.MEDIA.
Munich – Uschi Glas (79) is considered a German acting legend. She has been in the acting world for around 60 years and has been an integral part of the industry since her success in “Winnetou” in 1966. With that, she witnessed a lot of changes. Im IPPEN.MEDIAInterviewed on the sidelines of the Mercedes-Benz Women’s Oktoberfest, Uschi Glas said honestly: “I’m not a fan of gender. Clearly. I think the German language is being defaced by this (editor’s note: Bavarian for “defaced”).”
There is a limit for the Bambi honorary laureate. “If you write ‘Dear friends’, then it’s okay. But dear friends – I always think: ‘For God’s sake, now she’s in trouble.’ But no, it wasn’t a hang-up, that’s how it should be. So I’m not a fan of that. I think it might be done a little differently.”she explained.
Uschi Glas: Her private life
In addition to her successful career, there was also a lot going on in Uschi Glas’ personal life. From 1966 to 1970, the actress lived with film producer Bobby Arnold. The Bavarian was in a relationship with Max Graf Lamberg from 1971 to 1973 before she married Bernd Tewaag in 1981. The marriage resulted in three children: Benjamin Tewaag (* 1976) is a film producer, Alexander Christoph Tewaag (* 1982) is a lawyer. Julia Tewaag (* 1986) appeared as a child in the television series “Veterinary Christine” alongside her mother. However, around 22 years later, the marriage to Bernd Tewaag failed.
On October 22, 2005, Uschi Glas went to the altar once more and has since been married to the management consultant Dieter Hermann. The two met at a golf tournament.
Uschi Glas loves Oktoberfest: “I’ve lived in Munich for 100 years”
Uschi Glas can’t quite get used to gender, but she likes it even better. In general, the mother of three is a big Oktoberfest fan. “I have lived in Munich for 100 years. Oktoberfest is simply part of it. […] I’m a fan of the Oktoberfest lunchtime. I think it’s really nice when the weather is good. There’s nothing nicer than going to the Oktoberfest, eating a chicken and going home once more,” she enthused IPPEN.MEDIA.
