The ex-president Mauricio Macri This Thursday night he reiterated his support for the presidential candidate of Together for Change, Patricia Bullrich, and doubted Javier Milei’s possibilities to lead a “profound change” in Argentinabecause, among other factors, “would have zero governors”.
The former president returned from his visit to the province of Córdoba and expanded on the changing political scenario ahead of the general elections in October, in the framework of an interview given to LN+.
As a summary of his visit to the province and the conversations he had with citizens, Macri highlighted two elements to consider: on the one hand, the “fediness” that a significant number of the electorate expressed due to the economic situation and “the noise” generated by the internal of its political space during the primary elections in August.

In that sense, the founder of the PRO highlighted Patricia Bullrich’s experience as Minister of Security during her mandate.
“Patricia Bullrich already faced Moyano. He doesn’t say ‘I’m going to face it’, he already faced it. That is why Moyano does not want to know anything regarding Together for Change, led by Patricia, coming to power,” argued the former president.

For Macri, the result of the PASO will not be that of the October 22 elections, because the primaries “is a stage” and then “the vote moves.”
“Peronism is going to get fewer votes than in the PASO,” said the former president.
“We are going to win the election, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. This vote in process is going to take us to the second round and we are going to win it“, he claimed.
“There is no place for dollarization,” stated Macri
In turn, Macri assured that “there is no place for dollarization” and considered that “the central thing is fiscal.”
“The economists that I respect most told me that there is no place for dollarization. The central thing is the fiscal. Dollarization would be a shortcut. Here we have to sit down and fight and extract all those privileges that are in the national budget until balance is achieved. And lower taxes so people can work,” he said.
On the other hand, he called it a “good choice” the arrival of Carlos Melconian to the Bullrich team and indicated that he sees it “with great enthusiasm.”
