Toyota Corolla 2024 launched in Brazil in six different versions

The version 2024 do Toyota Corolla was officially launched in Brazil this Thursday (21). Recently, the automaker revealed a small preview of the car, suggesting that the new model would arrive with few design changes compared to its predecessor.

Still on the visual part of the vehicle, which highlights the presence of a renewed front grille from the XEi version (there are six in total), as well as 17-inch wheels that arrive with a new design. In general, these two aspects end up giving a tone of elegance to the three volumes.

Another important point regarding the new Corolla is that it arrives on the Brazilian market with a recalibrated engine. This new feature is valid both for versions equipped with a 1.8 engine accompanied by two electrical equipment, and for variants with 2.0.

As a result, the car is 8.4% more efficient on the road when running on ethanol. In the flex hybrid versions, this efficiency increases by 12%. These models even combine a 1.8 16V engine with two electric motors with 72 hp and 16.6 kgfm of torque. According to Toyota itself:

These improvements reinforce the positioning of the 2024 Corolla as a vehicle that not only meets, but exceeds expectations in terms of performance, fuel economy and positive environmental impact.

Starting with the XEi version, by the way, the car comes with a new TFT cluster equipped with a 12.3-inch digital screen, while the GLi variant has a cluster with a 7″ panel. As for multimedia, all models come with a 9-inch display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as USB-C outputs for rear seat passengers.
