80% of places will be allocated to students from minority groups
Those selected will work at the Nissan Industrial Complex in Resende (RJ) and brand units in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Paulo (SP) and São José dos Pinhais (PR)
RIO DE JANEIRO – Guided by the purpose of promoting an increasingly diverse, equal and inclusive society, Nissan is launching its new Internship Program. This year, the Japanese manufacturer aims to allocate 80% of vacancies to young talents from minority groups, thus ensuring a selection with a strong perspective of gender, physical disability and racial diversity, in addition to also considering universities further away from urban centers.
In total, there will be 88 internship vacancies to work at the Nissan Industrial Complex in Resende, in the south of Rio de Janeiro, and at the company’s units in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Paulo (SP), Jundiaí (SP) and São José dos Pinhais ( PR).
Another novelty of this edition is that selected students will have the opportunity to follow “a trail of knowledge” during the two years of the internship through a robust skills development and mentoring program, which will culminate in the delivery of improvement projects in their areas of activity within the company.
“We are very happy to open the doors of our company once more for university students to take their first professional steps. Our search is for young people who have the ability to work in teams, who are agile, with an analytical profile and a digital-oriented mindset. In return, we offer professional development in a diverse, innovative and open work environment, and a multicultural experience”, explains Lívia Filgueiras, senior manager of Human Resources at Nissan in South America.
