The funeral for the director’s brother began a short while ago Amir Al-Yamani The husband of the artist Hanan Mutawa, who resided in the Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque, on Salah Salem Road, and who passed away yesterday, in the presence of the artist Hanan Mutawa, who was keen to console her husband, and a number of friends and relatives also attended.

Director Amir Al-Yamani, husband of the star Hanan Mutawa, announced the death of his brother Karim, via his Facebook account, and wrote: “My brother Karim Al-Yamani has passed away.”

It is noteworthy that director Amir Al-Yamani recently presented a theatrical performance entitled “Pianola” on the stage of the Nihad Saliha Theater at the Academy of Arts, and the show stars Muhammad Ibrahim, Taha Ali Taha, Samia Abdel Rahman, Youssef Muhammad, Omar Al-Sayed, Mustafa Fawzi, Hind Muhammad, Sarah Ashraf, and Rahma. It is worth noting that the show won several awards at the festival of universities and specialized institutes nationwide, including the first republic for best show in the competition, the first republic for best direction by director Amir Al-Yamani, the third republic for best décor, the first republic in acting for best actor in the competition, which was obtained by (Abdullah Allah Muhammad Shawqi, second in acting for best actor in the competition, won by (Taha Ali Taha – Omar Al-Sayed), second in acting for best actress in the competition, won by (Maryam Alaa Muhammad – Maya Essam).
