This year once more, the income tax scale will take into account the high level of inflation, as revealed by “Les Echos”. The government will, in fact, include in the finance law for 2024 a 4.8% increase in the scale brackets. Consequently, next year, a single person will be taxed on their income if their net taxable income exceeds 11,294 euros, compared to 10,777 euros currently.
If the practice was not as regular as for income tax, the scale of the wealth solidarity tax (ISF) had also been readjusted. Thus, from 720,000 euros in spring 2002, the first tax bracket started at 800,000 euros before its replacement by the IFI.
