The Infinix Note 30 5G is Positivo’s new bet on the national market and arrives with local manufacturing and a box full of accessories to win over the Brazilian public with good value for money.
It has a unique design with a body made of good quality plastic. The model is available in black and blue, with the latter bringing an iridescent effect. There is a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button that works well. It comes with glass film and a transparent case in the box to protect the device.
The 6.78-inch screen has an IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The touch sensor responds to 240 Hz, which reduces latency and helps with games. The brightness level is good, but for the price we expected an AMOLED screen with better brightness. The sound is stereo and optimized by JBL, despite lacking a little in the midrange, it still delivers great power and sound quality.
Performance is due to MediaTek’s Dimensity 6080 chip. It’s not very popular hardware, but it delivers good performance for the mid-range segment. It did well in our speed test and managed to keep several apps open, thanks to its 8 GB of RAM. In games, don’t expect to play everything at maximum quality, as you will have to make some graphic sacrifices in heavier games.
The 5,000 mAh battery lasts all day with an average of 27 hours in moderate use and the 45W charger takes 50 minutes to fill the battery. The 108 MP camera takes great photos even at night thanks to the efficient night mode. It would be interesting to have an ultra-wide camera instead of the blur camera that doesn’t do a good job. The camcorder records at a maximum of 1440p at 30 fps, has good stabilization and pleasant stereo sound, but the focus might be more agile.
Is the Infinix Note 30 5G worth buying? It is a cool mid-range cell phone that delivers a balanced experience between performance, battery and camera. However, you end up finding more interesting options, as you can see in the full analysis below:
