When Electronic Arts announced that Criterion would once once more be the lead developer of Need for Speed games in 2020, cheers were heard around the world. Many feared this would never happen, as Burnout’s creator has only stated that DICE produced the Star Wars Battlefront II and Battlefield games over the past few years.
