WhatsApp channels allow you to subscribe to the broadcast channels of celebrities and major organizations to follow their news. Here’s how to access it.
WhatsApp is evolving. Like Telegram and Instagram, the application has launched “channels”, broadcast channels which allow personalities, brands or even large organizations to broadcast different content (videos, photos, text, surveys). …) to their subscribers.
Posts that followers can respond to with comments or emojis. In the coming months, every user of Meta’s messaging service will be able to create their own channel. But, for the moment, this option is only accessible to brands, well-known personalities or the media (starting with BFMTV). In the meantime, here’s how to subscribe and view one of their channels.
How to subscribe and view a WhatsApp channel
Go to the “News” tab. Click the “Find Channels” button located in the “Channels” category at the bottom of the page.Tech&CoSelect channels from those suggested. You can also search for a channel by clicking on the magnifying glass icon at the top right. Please note that no other WhatsApp user can know which channels you follow. The platform also allows channel administrators to refuse, without justification, that a user follows the content it produces.
