Traffic will become more complicated along the E411 in the coming weeks. A motorway surface repair project will be set up between Nil-Saint-Vincent and Louvrange during the month of October.
The project aims to rehabilitate the upper layers of the surfaces of the emergency and right-hand stopping lanes over a portion of eight kilometers, only in the direction of Brussels.
The site will be gradually installed between September 25 and October 2. From October 2 until the end of the month, the speed will be reduced to 70 km/h in both directions.
In practice
Towards Namur, three lanes will be maintained but diverted (using the emergency lane). Towards Brussels, during morning rush hours, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., three lanes will be maintained. Outside of this time, two routes will be accessible. Motorway accesses and exits n°8a (Louvain-la-Neuve) and n°9 (Corroy-le-Grand) will be closed for two days to proceed with the paving of the ramps. The dates of these closures will be specified later depending on the progress of the construction site and weather conditions.
