Completing a game without getting hit is already an achievement, but completing 7 in a row in the same way is simply incredible. Yet a streamer has achieved the impossible, and not on the easiest titles at that.
Streamers sometimes like to take on crazy challenges. Elden Ring was no exception. We were able to see a streamer tackle Malenia on a dance mat, a player take down the Sanctechair duo with his bare hands or even with a graphics tablet – but another player had reached a whole new level.
GinoMachino finished Elden Ring without getting hit in October 2022 — when even the game’s creator himself didn’t believe it. It had taken him a little over 9 hours. But it seems that it wasn’t difficult enough for him since he set himself another even crazier challenge: to complete 7 different games without taking a single damage.
A challenge that seems impossible
To make matters worse, he didn’t take the simplest titles in the world, no, far from it. He set himself the challenge of finishing Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1, 2, & 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring, games known for being very punishing, without getting hit once.. And as you can imagine, he succeeded. Here too, it is easy to think that few people believed in him, but his determination proved them wrong.
We don’t really know how long it took him, but knowing that he had defeated all the bosses of the Underworld in no hit in more than 9 hours, suffice to say that he must have spent very long days.
The amazed community
The response from the community was unanimous: GinoMachino is a monster — while we mere mortals struggle to finish even one game on his list. “Gino just pulled off one of the hardest feats and said oh man, that was kinda hard.” or “An absolute threat, congratulations brother.” can we read in the responses to his tweet.
This achievement will undoubtedly mark the minds of fans of FromSoftware games. It now remains to know his next challenge. What might GinoMachino do even crazier?
