She won in front of the surprising Océane Michelon (Bauges SN), encouraged by her audience at home: “I loved the atmosphere, being pushed by the audience and running with the best French women. I succeeded to stay in my bubble, to do what I wanted to do.” Already third yesterday, Gilonne Guigonnat (Villard-sur-Boëge) completes the podium.
Like yesterday, Julia Simon finished fourth (16/20). “It was very hard today. I have rarely had feelings of helplessness like this. I had no energy. I tried to fight at the shooting range but it didn’t work. my 2nd lying down (2 faults) and my 1st standing (2 faults also).” Fany Bertrand, 5th, won in U22 and Voldiya Galmace Paulin (11th) in U19. Justine Braisaz-Bouchet ranks 7th (11/20).
It’s the boys’ turn to conclude this weekend with the pursuit which will take place at 2:15 p.m. for the U19s (10km) and 3 p.m. for the U22s and seniors (12.5km).
