Devastating Flood in Libya: Over 11,300 Dead and 10,100 Missing in Derna

Catastrophic flooding caused a week ago in Libya by Storm Daniel left at least 11,300 dead in Derna, in the east of the country, a UN body announced on Saturday.

Around 10,100 people are still missing in Derna, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.

The disaster also left 170 dead in other places in eastern Libya, he added.
