On Saturday followingnoon, an Aermacchi MB.339 military jet belonging to the Italian aerobatic team “Frecce Triccolori” crashed during a training flight near Caselle airport near Turin. The pilot was able to eject himself from his jet seconds before impact. He was apparently injured during the parachute landing.
