It was supposed to be the Monster Hunter from EA, a series which would establish itself over time and give birth to several opuses, and yet, it is a fiasco. Wild Hearts never managed to win over its audience, not even at its launch, and now rumors of closure are multiplying.

Not even 300 players per day for Wild Hearts!

It’s a big blow for EA who released Wild Hearts a little earlier in the year, seeking success as a Monster Hunter. While the game draws inspiration from many of its mechanics, the numbers are not at all the same.

Indeed, Wild Hearts currently only has around 200 players per day, where Monster Hunter World is having happy days with an average of 30,000 daily players.

Wild Hearts actually doesn’t never worked. Even for its launch, the game was completely absent from Twitch, and only never exceeded 28,475 players on Steam.

A month following its release, there were already only 3,000 players populating its servers, 1,000 a month later, not even 300 three months later.

A fiasco for this game inspired by Monster Hunter, which might soon close its doors.

Soon the servers will be closed?

With fewer players than students at the local college, there is little chance that Wild Hearts servers will be profitable, even if the game costs 70 euros.

Although currently on promotion at -40% the number of players is still stagnating and rumors of server closures are rife.

On Reddit user BeardyShaman, moderator of the game’s discord, says he has viable sources pointing to an imminent shutdown.

Although his words are take with tweezers, with such low numbers, a closure seems obvious, even without a source from EA.

The question remains how long before the game is completely stopped or a press release from the developers, wait and see as they say!
