Two people were placed under arrest warrant by the investigating judge for their alleged involvement in the events that occurred on Friday evening in the Kiel district of Antwerp, where six homes and several cars were damaged. A minor also involved in the facts was presented to the youth judge, the Antwerp public prosecutor confirmed on Saturday.
Six homes and two cars were damaged on Friday evening by an explosion in the Kiel district of Antwerp. Residents saw a car with Dutch registration plates fleeing following the incident and reported it to the police. Shortly followingwards, they proceeded to the arrest of three suspects: two adults and a minor, all Dutch nationals.
The facts probably fit within the framework violence linked to the drug scene. An investigation was opened for violation of the legislation on explosives, membership in a criminal organization and destruction of a building by explosive and in the presence of occupants.
