In our fast-paced world, we must always be aware of the latest local developments, and recently the Ministry of Interior issued a statement showing its efforts to arrest violators. Let us convey this information to you in a simple and interesting way. Within a short period of only one week, joint field campaigns were able to arrest 15,812 violators throughout the Kingdom. These numbers do not come only as a number, but as evidence of the Ministry of Interior’s continuing efforts.
9,801 violators of the residency system were caught, while the number of violators of the border security system reached 3,804. In the labor system, 2,207 violators were caught. When looking at the numbers of attempts to cross the border, we find that 827 people tried to enter the Kingdom irregularly, and what is interesting is that 61% of them are Yemenis and 18% are Ethiopians.

Arrest those involved
It seems that violations are not limited to individuals only! 15 people involved in various activities such as transporting and sheltering violators were arrested. These numbers show the importance of following up on all aspects, not just violators. Currently, there are 44,016 violating expatriates under procedures to implement the regulations. Of these, 36,701 are men and 7,315 are women. The Ministry of Interior is not only at the control stage, but also at the implementation stage. 37,221 violators were referred to obtain travel documents and 9,576 violators were deported.
The ministry issued a stern warning. Anyone who cooperates with violators or assists them in any way will be subject to severe penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to one million riyals.
