Motorola appears to be working on a new mid-range tablet that will succeed the Moto Tab G70, a model launched starting at R$2,399 in Brazil. Possibly called the Moto Tab G84, the new device had supposed images and first specifications revealed on Friday (15) by leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore.

According to sources, the brand’s new tablet might feature a new design with a metallic body in a single color option that combines two shades of gray. The Moto Tab G84 should continue to offer a single rear camera with an 8 MP sensor, as well as a front lens for video calls installed on the thick edges of the screen.

On the back, there’s a small cutout that might be the magnetic connector for a stylus. It is reported that the tablet will be equipped with a dual set of JBL speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

It is also possible to find a connection with three points of contact on the lower back, which should serve as a dock for the physical keyboard. Finally, the tablet has a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

For now, these are the only specifications available through the leak. There is still no information regarding the screen, front camera, processor and battery of the new Motorola tablet, but it is possible that, if there really are plans for its launch, the manufacturer will reveal the first official details over the next few weeks.

It is worth remembering that the Moto Tab G70 is equipped with an 11-inch screen with IPS LCD technology and 2K resolution. The rear camera is 13 MP and supports HDR captures. Under the hood, the tablet features the MediaTek Helio G90T platform, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 7,700 mAh.
