Throttle ceiling – Endling
Origin:
Norway

08.09.2023

51:08
Genre:
Blackened Rock n Roll

Kvelertak is the gold standard for punky, black metal-adjacent, classic rock worshiping extreme music. Described by Revolver as “blackened rock and roll party beasts,” the band are truly unlike any other, with their triple guitar harmonies and tons of lyrics written in their native Norwegian.

With these words you are welcomed Throttle ceilings band and album info. I am convinced that the broad range of fans agree with this narrative and I am happy regarding three years following its predecessor Discord with the one to be released on September 8th, 2023 Endling to be able to hear what is now the fifth output from the Norwegians.

The opener Krøterveg Te Helvetewhich is already in advance HERE was released, shows you the direction of the album! The track, released in April, bears the already well-known name Throttle ceiling Handwriting and is just fun from the first riffing! This is Kvelertak as I love and celebrate it!

The punk attitude can be felt down to the last fiber of the band, but the six thoroughbred musicians also combine rock, a lot of rock n roll and even the endless cruelty of black metal skillfully and playfully.

Schnöder Vikings copy from Norway? None!
This is the real deal

Anyone looking for a disdainful Vikings imitation will be disappointed. Endling offers more, as the band so aptly describes: “On Endling we tell the stories of the disappearing and dying men and women of Norwayexplains guitarist and co-founder Vidar Landa. “Old and new myths, culture and rituals are brought to life – the folklore that doesn’t fit into the concept of a television series. Vikings and trolls are for television. This is the real deal.

This becomes particularly clear in tracks like Skoggangr, Black Septemberr or even the title track Finallythat you each other HERE can move in.

The sound from the speakers sounds beautifully organic and so raw, as if you were standing next to the band. No wonder it was Endling but recorded live in the studio with one click. Splendid! Throttle ceiling have long since put me in a stranglehold, which is what the band name literally means.

Nicholas, which initially didn’t really hit my heart as a replacement frontman, has long since arrived there. It was really one of the best decisions to acquire the former guest musician and long-time friend of the band. He brings it Throttle ceiling Spirit, which is so genre-spanning, perfectly to the point and conveys energy, energy and more of it.

I’m looking forward to actually hearing the album live and celebrating the consistently straightforward album, which is bursting with diverse tones, live. Hopefully the next tour is already in the starting blocks.

Conclusion
That Throttle ceiling They have proven that their songs have hit potential over the last few years and I’m sure that too Endling songs will once once more become catchy tunes that will last for years. At least the old school fans will Endling love – like me. There is none from me 9 / 10
