The Minister responsible for Transport Clément Beaune was invited to answer questions from viewers and Gilles Bornstein on the set of the interactive program “#OnVousRépond”, Friday September 8.
Asked by a viewer regarding the rise in fuel prices, Clément Beaune assured “don’t want to make false promises” et “that there would be no check from the State” if the cost of gasoline remained high. To counter inflation on fuels, the State is relying more on oil tankers as well as distributors. The Total company has also extended the freeze on its prices at 1.99 euros per liter following the end of the year.
“Prices will not decrease in the coming months”
Even his bell on the toll side since the minister affirmed that “prices will not decrease in the coming months”, while specifying that the State “made sure that [les prix] increase significantly less than inflation”. “We combine purchasing power and ecology, not once morest each other”, concluded Clément Beaune on the franceinfo set.
