As soon as Jürgen Klinsmann (Germany), the national soccer team coach, returns from his trip to England, he visits the K-League stadium of the domestic professional soccer league as announced.
The Korea Football Association announced today, “Coach Klinsmann will watch the game between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Gangwon FC at Jeonju World Cup Stadium tomorrow, and will visit Seoul World Cup Stadium the day following tomorrow on the 17th to watch the game between FC Seoul and Gwangju FC.”
Coach Klinsmann returned home via Incheon Airport on the 14th following playing friendly games with Wales on the 8th and Saudi Arabia on the 13th in England.
Coach Klinsmann originally planned to go straight from England to Germany to watch the game between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen on the 16th, but changed his plans and returned to Korea.
This can be interpreted as a change in plan in response to criticism that Director Klinsmann, who took office in February of this year, stayed in the country for only 67 days during his more than half-year tenure.
In an interview upon returning home on the 14th, Coach Klinsmann said, “There are games to observe in foreign countries such as Europe, so there is a schedule to keep going back and forth.”
The Korean national soccer team, led by Coach Klinsmann, will play domestic friendly matches once morest Tunisia on October 13th and Vietnam on October 17th.
